Celebration
December felt magical at our house. Violet's anticipation for Christmas was contagious and we had a blast celebrating the birth of Jesus. Our Christmas verse was John 1:14, which says, "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
We enjoyed our new advent calendar (made by the one and only AMG), fondue on Christmas Eve, many popcorn movie nights, amazing gifts, and even had snow for the big day. Although we missed our families in Iowa and Ohio, our first Maine Christmas turned out to be a very special celebration for our family.
